Atelier Halle Media Manager Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Atelier Halle Media Manager is a private tool used by Atelier Halle to prepare and schedule posts to its own Instagram and Pinterest accounts. It is not offered to the public, and it is
used only by its owner with accounts the owner controls. This policy covers the app only; it is published at https://atelierhalle.com/privacy.
What the app accesses
When an account is connected, the app uses the official Pinterest and Instagram APIs to access only what it needs to publish:
Basic account details: account ID, username, display name, profile picture link and account type, to confirm the right account is connected.
Pinterest boards, so a board can be chosen for each Pin.
Permission to create Pins and Instagram posts on the connected account.
The app does not read followers, messages, analytics or other people's data, and it does not collect Pinterest or Instagram passwords. Sign-in happens on Pinterest's and Instagram's own pages.
How data is used
Data from Pinterest and Instagram is used only to publish the owner's own posts to the owner's own accounts and to show their status in the app. Every Pin and post is created individually by the owner.
Data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or training machine-learning models.
Where data is stored
Everything stays on the owner's own computer. There is no app server, account system or cloud database.
Access tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain and are never written to ordinary files or logs.
Photos and captions are stored locally and sent only to the platform they are being published to.
For Instagram only, each photo is placed briefly in private Cloudflare R2 storage so Instagram can fetch it, then deleted. It is reachable only through a link that expires within 15 minutes.
Retention
Access tokens are kept until the account is disconnected.
Account details and the chosen board for each Pin are kept locally with the account's record until the owner deletes the app's data.
For published posts, the app keeps the post's ID and link as a local posting history until the owner deletes it.
Sharing
No data is sold or shared with third parties. The only services involved are Pinterest and Instagram themselves, and Cloudflare R2 for the short-lived Instagram uploads described above. The app contains no analytics or tracking.
Deleting data
Disconnecting an account in the app deletes its stored tokens immediately. Access can also be revoked at any time from the connected-apps section of the Pinterest or Instagram account settings.
Deleting the app's local data folder removes everything else it stored.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
